Universal Balloon Medical joined Medical Technology Ireland 2026 at Galway Racecourse, connecting with medtech manufacturers, suppliers and innovators from across Europe.

That’s a wrap on Medical Technology Ireland 2026
We’re back from Medical Technology Ireland 2026, held on 23–24 September at Galway Racecourse in Ballybrit, Galway — one of Europe’s largest and fastest-growing medical device design and manufacturing shows, bringing together 300+ global suppliers under one roof.
Representing Universal Balloon Medical, our VP of Overseas Markets & Corporate Strategy, Chen Lu, spent two days on the exhibition floor meeting the people who build the interventional-device industry: manufacturers, component and material suppliers, equipment partners and innovators from across the medtech community.

It was a valuable chance to share how AI-driven, automated manufacturing and inspection equipment can help balloon-catheter and interventional-device makers raise yield, consistency and traceability — and to listen to the challenges teams are working through on their own production lines.
Conversations like these are exactly why we travel. They sharpen how we build, and they help us grow Universal Balloon Medical’s network across the European medtech community.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect — it was a pleasure to meet you. If we spoke at the show and you’d like to continue the conversation, get in touch.
